What we collect

Training requests: your name, email, optional phone number, the training or service you’re interested in, and any preferred dates, experience level, and notes you choose to include.

Reviews: your first name, last initial, the service you used, and your review. If we approve a review, we publish your first name, last initial, service, the month, and your review text exactly as written on our Reviews page.

With every form: your confirmation that you are 18 or older and agree to this policy, whether you checked the separate box to join our email list (and when), the time you submitted, the page and campaign (utm) link you arrived from, and the referring site and your browser’s user-agent string (the browser and device type it reports).

Orders: checkout is handled by PayPal. Your payment details go to PayPal, not to us, and PayPal’s privacy policy applies to the information you give PayPal. We receive the order details we need to fill your order and arrange local pickup.

How we use it

We use your information only to respond to your request, fill and arrange pickup for your order, review and publish approved reviews, and understand which pages and campaigns bring visitors to the site. Form submissions are stored in a database we control on Cloudflare (Cloudflare D1), and we receive an alert when one arrives.

We send marketing emails only if you check the separate box to join our email list. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link and our mailing address, and we honor unsubscribes within 10 business days. We won’t text the phone number you give us; we may call or email you about your request.

Sharing and service providers

We share information only with service providers that process it for us: Cloudflare (hosting, database, analytics), PayPal (payments), and [email provider, once chosen] (email delivery). We don’t sell your information or share it for advertising. We may disclose information if required by law.

Retention

We keep training requests and order records for up to [3] years for business and tax records, unpublished reviews for up to 12 months, and email-list records until you unsubscribe (then only your email as a do-not-email marker). Delete requests are honored unless we must keep a record by law.

Analytics and cookies

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track you across sites. We also record a small set of first-party site events (for example: add to cart, checkout started or completed, and clicks on our phone or email links), along with the page and any campaign (utm) tags in the link you arrived from. These events are not stored with your IP address, browser user-agent, name, or email. To prevent abuse, we briefly keep a salted, one-way hash of your IP address to count requests for rate limiting; it is deleted within about two hours and is never linked to events.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your cart is saved in your own browser (local storage), and the page and campaign link you first arrived from is kept in your browser for the current visit (session storage) so it can be attached to a form you submit.

Adults only

This site and our services are intended for adults 18 and older. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices

To see, correct, or delete the information you sent us, or to have an approved review taken down, email geistdynamics@gmail.com or call 801-381-1029. We’ll delete your data on request.

Changes

If we change how we collect or use information, for example by adding new analytics tools or service providers, we’ll update this page first and change the effective date.
